Why stay in Orlando
Orlando is the shortest commute to Universal and International Drive, and it offers the widest choice of homes. That matters more than people expect when you are travelling with small children or grandparents. Twenty minutes saved each way is forty minutes a day, and across a week that is most of a park day handed back to you.
It is also the easiest base if you are not doing parks every day. Restaurants, shopping, golf and the airport are all close, so a rest day does not mean a long drive to do anything at all.
The trade-off is straightforward. You pay a modest premium over Davenport or the outer Kissimmee communities for that convenience. For a short trip it is almost always worth it. For a two-week stay with a hire car, it may not be.

Our Orlando homes
Every home is filterable by how many people you need to sleep, whether you want a private pool, and how close you want to be. All of them are managed by us, cleaned by our own teams and inspected before you arrive.
Getting here from the airport
$125 per vehicle from MCO to the Disney and Lake Buena Vista area, or $120 to Universal. Up to eight passengers for the same price, with fuel, meet and greet and child seats included.
A family of six or seven with luggage needs the largest rideshare class, which costs substantially more than the standard fare and moves with demand — and at an airport, demand moves exactly when every flight lands. Our price is fixed when you book.
What is nearby
Our Orlando guide covers where to go, when to go and what things cost, and the things-to-do guides break down individual attractions with cost bands and practical detail.
Frequently asked questions
How far is Disney from your Orlando homes?
Typically 20 to 30 minutes depending on which community and which park gate. Universal is closer, usually 15 to 20 minutes.
Do we need a hire car?
Not necessarily. If you are doing parks most days, transfers plus park drop-offs often work out level with a hire car once you add daily parking at each park. If you plan day trips to the coast or Tampa, hire a car.
How many people can one home sleep?
Our largest homes sleep up to 16. Most sleep between 8 and 12. Filter by the number in your group on the properties page.
Is the private pool heated?
Pool heat is available on most homes as an optional extra. Florida nights are cooler than visitors expect between November and March, and an unheated pool goes largely unused in those months. Add it at booking.
